(KCPW–August 7, 2013) Currently the state tax credit for buying a car that runs on natural gas is 4X greater than for purchasing an electric vehicle. Green energy advocates testified before the Utah Public Service Commission Wednesday, asking them to recommend to the legislature that the two tax credits are made equal.
