(Chris Samuels | The Salt Lake Tribune) A Zions Bank branch in Cottonwood Heights, Monday, March 13, 2023.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints permanently donates thousands of acre-feet of water to the Great Salt Lake. Zions Bank stock plummets in the wake of the Silicon Valley Bank collapse, but the Utah bank’s CEO says your money is safe. And lawmakers spend $500,000 to recruit out-of-state hunters for Utah’s war on wolves.

At 9 a.m. on Friday, Salt Lake Tribune reporters Leia Larsen, Tony Semerad and Brian Maffly, along with opinion editor George Pyle, join Utah Public Radio’s Tom Williams to talk about the week’s top stories.

Every Friday at 9 a.m., stream “Behind the Headlines” at kcpw.org, or tune in to KCPW 88.3 FM or UPR at www.upr.org for the broadcast. Join the live conversation this week by email to upraccess@gmail.com or Twitter @upraccess.
