As summer brings us those long sunshine-filled days, Utah Film Center is excited to announce the return of its Free Summer Outdoor Film Series at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City. Pull out your favorite blanket, grab those delicious treats, and enjoy the long-awaited soft warm breezes of a perfect Utah summer night.
Every Friday night this Summer you will take an epic journey– riding whitewater in the world’s deepest canyon, helping a fearless shell look for its home, swooning over comic book nerds looking for love, and taking risks with a big-hearted Australian environmentalist who has even bigger fishy friends. We’ll also be exploring the magic of cinema with legendary rock and soul icons, two volcanologists, and a breakdance crew that is hotter than a St. George day in August.

Erin’s Guide to Kissing Girls
Film Synopsis:
As middle school is ending, Erin, the only out person in her grade, and Liz, fellow comic nerd and track star, find their friendship tested when Liz is accepted to private school and Erin falls hard for new girl and ex child-star, Sydni. Erin believes the only way to save herself from certain doom is to ask Sydni to the big dance, but the plan goes awry when she starts to lose Liz along the way.
