
(KCPW News) Republican Governor Gary Herbert was sworn in this afternoon to continue his term as Utah’s 17th Governor. Herbert took office in August 2009 when former Governor Jon Huntsman resigned to become US Ambassador to China. Herbert then won a special election in November to complete the final two years of Huntsman’s term. In his speech today , Herbert focused on overcoming economic hardships with fiscal responsibility.
