Enough is enough. That’s what some in Utah’s LGBT community are saying after a nondiscrimination bill considered by the state legislature failed to make it to the floor of the Senate or House for the fifth year in a row. And today, they’re taking their message to the state capitol, holding a Human Dignity Rally.

And today, they’re taking their message to the state capitol, holding a Human Dignity Rally. Former Salt Lake County Democratic Party Chair Weston Clark organized the event, along with Megan Risbon. KCPW’s Jeff Robinson spoke with them about what’s behind their frustration.

    Not JUST the LGBT community. Like-minded straight people who believe in civil rights were also there and we agree. This legislation is long overdue.

    Equality is a civil rights issue not a moral issue. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
