Salt Lake County’s open space will soon be getting a facelift. Tuesday night, Salt Lake County residents passed proposition 1, a $47 million dollar general obligation bond that will fund the construction of three regional parks, the completion of two major trails as well as the purchase of land for a future park. As KCPW’s Charlotte Duren reports, some worry this could mean huge tax hikes.
