StaysInVegasCoverThe Hinckley Institute Radio Hour (Original air date: November 5, 2014) –  Adam Tanner is a fellow at Harvard University’s Institute for Quantitative Social Science, and a former foreign correspondent for Reuters News Service.  His new book What Stay In Vegas: The World Of Personal Data – Lifeblood Of Big Business – And The End Of Privacy As We Know It (September 2014), focuses partly on the surveillance culture of Las Vegas .  It also examines the way personal data is collected from Americans by private companies and how it is used.  Adam Tanner spoke at the University of Utah on October 2, 2014.
